I studied Ceramic Design and in 2000, I graduated Central Saint Martins in London with a B.A. Hons. My design of a magnetic porcelain ring holder won me a place on the design team at the Wedgwood in Stock-on-Trent, England. After adapting the design to fit with the brands existing blue and white Jasper ware, the piece was shown at trade shows across Europe including Ambiente and 100% Design.
Other early design work took me to Frankfurt to design glassware, Stockholm to work in a ceramic studio and Copenhagen to build an art installation for Nike. My transition to the Motion Picture Industry came in 2004, when I had the chance to work in Morocco on the Ridley Scott film ‘Kingdom of Heaven’ in the Set Decorating department. I caught the bug and never looked back. After moving to Los Angeles in 2007 and teaching myself Photoshop and Illustrator I finally joined Local 800 as a Graphic Designer in 2011.
